TDA7294 is a monolithic amplifier IC also known as DMOS audio amplification component, it is a high power class AB amplifier type.
TDA7294 amplifier ICs have more applications at high-end stereo amplifier sets, on applications like home amplifier systems and car stereo sets used TDA7294 based circuits.
TDA7294 ICs had high power output up to 100w, and with high current capacity, the TDA7294 system builds with multiple functions and protection systems.

The package used at TDA7294 IC is the multiwatt15, the 15 is called the number of pins on the amplifier IC.
It is a high power amplifier IC had different circuit connections such as bridge amplifier and stereo amplifier, so they need high power dissipating package.
The TO-220 package is used as the enclosure for power components, the multiwatt15 is an enlarged version of Petawatt.
The zig-zag inline packaging of multiwatt15 makes it easier to attach it with printed board, the power dissipation is high, a metal case with a hole in it for attaching the heat sink with it.

TDA7294 amplifier IC is a power amplification component, which is also called DMOS audio amplifier. The TDA7294 have more applications at higher-end amplifier circuits like TV stereo set, car radio sets and also at the self-powdered loudspeaker.
The maximum allowable voltage at the TDA7294 is 50v.
The operating voltage rating for a TDA7294 amplifier IC is ±10v to ±40v, this is the voltage value we need to set for the power supply.

TDA7294 bridge amplifier

Generally, bridge amplifier works with two amplifier systems, at TDA7294 amplifier IC two op-amp are used as amplification components.
When the signal reaches amplifier 1, the audio signal passes through it and starts amplification and at a situation, it passes the signal to the second amplifier 2.
And a combined signal is produced and passes over to the output speaker, and the is the simple operation of a bridge amplifier.
The resistor is used at the input for setting a fixed impedance, resistance, and the capacitor is used to make mute and standby function at the device.
Two resistors are used to set voltage gain and the capacitor is used for the feedback component.
TDA7294 Power supply
The operating voltage value for the TDA7294 is ±10v to 40v, so a 25v/ 3.5amp 25v AC transformer is perfect for the amplifier power supply, and we need a bridge rectifier IC and a filter section.
At the power supply output, 50v is needed for the TDA7294 based amplifier power supply section.
